(Ki) within his/her own body. Coordinating breath with conscious
awareness, this exercise concentrates on preserving energy and thus
helps make the body healthier. In Eastern philosophy, energy
travels along a series of 12 channels called meridians, and
supplies energy to all organs, body tissues and the mind. The
distribution, blockage, movement, and balance of Ki within your
body have profound effects on your physical, emotional,
intellectual, and spiritual well-being. According to Eastern
traditional medicine, disease is caused by blockage and imbalances.
Beginning with proper breathing, Ki Gong can increase energy,
strength, coordination, and mental awareness. Additionally, Ki gong
has been proven to enhance the body’s ability to heal itself when
practiced at intermediate and advanced levels |
