Massage Therapy Basic

( 300 HOURS )

Dahn Healing Institute offers this program as its basic massage therapist program. It is offered in order to prepare the enrolled students to perform basic massage functions, Based on a well established knowledge of anatomy and physiology and other basic subjects.

Massage Therapy Advanced

(500 HOURS)

Dahn Healing Institute offers this program as its advanced massage therapist program. It is offered in order to prepare the enrolled students to perform basic and advanced massages. The program includes and introduction to the use of hydrotherapy and other therapeutic approaches to client care.

Massage Therapy   Hwal Gong Specialist

(650 HOURS)

Hwal Gong has a long heritage of practice. The Hwal Gong Certification Program integrates holistic modalities from both Eastern and Western Perspectives. Students receive and give treatments to gain an understanding and appreciation of the beauty of this healing art. The program is organized to cultivate the student’s natural sensitivity of touch through experimental in energy movement. The program is grounded in a comprehensive of Eastern and Western approaches to health.
Professional Energy Healing (Hwal Gong)

(100 HOURS)

This Korean tradition of healing art has a recorded history of nearly 10,000 years. The methods seeks to relieve pain and induce relaxation by facilitating the flow of life energy through the energy channels of the body (Meridians) by using specific and refined systems of massage motions and techniques. As the philosophical, anatomical, and physiological basis of Hwal Gong Massage technique, Oriental Anatomy and physiology focuses on the nature and distribution of Energy throughout the human body. This course includes an introduction to the fundamental philosophical principles of Oriental medicine as well as an in depth study of the meridian system. This course introduces the concept of the organs and viscera and their functional roles in energy development and utilization. A more detailed study of Oriental concepts of Yin/Yang theory, five elements, and organs with corresponding energy functions will follow.
English as a Second Language

(1296 HOURS)

This is a 72 week long intensive program in English as a Second Language. Instruction is provided 18 hours per week. The program is divided into six levels, Beginning 1, Beginning 2, Intermediate 1, Intermediate 2, Advanced 1, and Advanced 2. The schools utilizes a placement test to determine the student's existing skills and places students accordingly. The program stresses the development of listening, speaking, reading and writing skills and incorporates elements of American Culture.

Il-chi Ki-Gong Therapy

(100 HOURS)

This course is designed for the student to develop the ability to gather and utilize the energy (Ki) within his/her own body. Coordinating breath with conscious awareness, this exercise concentrates on preserving energy and thus helps make the body healthier. In Eastern philosophy, energy travels along a series of 12 channels called meridians, and supplies energy to all organs, body tissues and the mind. The distribution, blockage, movement, and balance of Ki within your body have profound effects on your physical, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual well-being. According to Eastern traditional medicine, disease is caused by blockage and imbalances. Beginning with proper breathing, Ki Gong can increase energy, strength, coordination, and mental awareness. Additionally, Ki gong has been proven to enhance the body’s ability to heal itself when practiced at intermediate and advanced levels
