Q: What is the difference between DHI other massage schools?

A

DHI students curriculum combines studying with practicing Dahn Yoga. This helps students increase memory for studying as well as creates a supportive atmosphere. Classes are no more than 12 people therefore you get the full attention and hands on experience necessary to increase your knowledge to perform in the workforce with confidence.

Q:How much money can I make? What is the hourly fee I can charge?

A

Managing a successful practice takes dedication and hard work in any business. But there is a clear difference in income if the quality of your service or product is higher. A DHI graduate will be able to practice in the widest range of modality and with specialties in Hwalgong(HG) and Brain Respiration Therapy (BRT). An average HG/BRT session fee starts from $100~$150. Ultimately, it will be up to you whether to offer competitive rates or not. In either case, our clients will know the difference in the quality of your service.

Q:What is the demand for the skills I will learn?

A

According to an article of Massage & Bodywork magazine, people are spending more money on alternative remedies than on regular doctors. But just any alternative remedy won't do. Many people are unable to open their minds to new approaches unless they have scientific support. That is why DHI offers western and eastern techniques based on scientific findings. You can find out more about Brain Respiration on www.brainrespiration.com as well as sites listed through our links.

Q: What can I do after graduation?

A

As a DHI graduate our options are unlimited. You may work in a doctor's office, on a cruise ship or a resort. Our graduates;

- Have their own pracices

A

Anybody can learn a series of techniques and apply them, but that won't make them good therapists. A good massage therapist must know how to utilize his/her mind, body and spirit well. And then all the techniques in the world can be just a tip of the iceberg for his/her healing abilities. DHI's program is scientifically designed to strengthen our body, increase your sensitivity, and raise your awareness. In conjuction, you will learn essential massage techniques to facilitate ultimate relaxation and improve health conditions.
