Attendance Requirements

DHI expects all students to attend all classes during the period enrollment.  Absence from class may affect the student’s final grade.  Attendance records are maintained by faculty members and academic departments.  Attendance requirements and permission to complete missed course work and examinations will be at the discretion of the appropriate academic department.  Absences for religious observance will be excused.  However, students are responsible for missed course work.

Absences

Students are marked absent if they do not attend class, or arrive after the mid-point of class, or leave without instructor approval before class is dismissed.  Strict attendance records will be kept.
